A small fox was leaping about the cold waters, small orange paws dashing through the recently fallen snow. It seemed to pay no attention to the coldness against it's little paws. Somewhere, a small voice was singing in a ta-dum ta-dum rhythm. "Raccoon Dog, Raccoon Dog, stop and play with me!" It was like an echoing whisper on the wind, almost hidden away by the rush of the great Nachi no Taki. The small fox seemed to slide to a stop in the snow and look up at the falls, enjoying the great roar.
There was a rustling behind her that caught her off guard, and the small kitsune let out a squeak. With a tiny popping noise and a lot of smoke, the kitsune was gone and in it's place sat what seemed to be a slender young woman who's white hair fell well to the ground, mingling and disappearing into the pure whiteness of the snow. Turning her head, she peeked around, then went back to singing in that same rhythm. "Raccoon Dog, Raccoon dog, come and play with me! I can't play with you today for I am too busy!" She had to sing the part of the Tanuki, on account that she knew not of any tanuki in the area. Not that she minded too much. Kitsune and Tanuki generally weren't the best of friends.

Jun had heard the echoing of the small voice as he sat on the edge of the falls. His feet were dangling over the edge as he then caught an eye of the small kitsune bouncing in the snow. As he then stood up from his perch. His hands slid down and brushed off his clothing as he then slowly began to walk down the path to join this singing woman. His lips curled into a soft grin before he bounced down. His form Changed once more. A bright light and a small puff of smoke, he stood there, a pair of crimson eyes glowing within the snow, as the small six tailed light blue kitsune Leaped out. Landing upon a rock which settled out over the pool inwihch the seemingly endless fall landed into.
As he stood there he looked at her once more. Letting out a soft yip, in hopes to gather her attention towards him. As he then shook his tails they all swayed in various directions. As he then slid down and pressed his hind against the rock. "There are humans in the area, you should be abit more careful." He chastized her as he then sways his tails once more. "But I'm sure they know better, than to attempt to come into the lands of the Demons without a reason." He said calmly once more As he then hoisted himself up and walking in a small circle so he could turn to look at her.

"You would think so, would you not?" She questioned, not yet looking to the source of the voice. A sigh passed over her lips, making it's presence known in the air, swept away by the breeze. "Humans fail to recognize their borders anymore." She said, a bit melancholic. It seemed that every other demon she came across hated humans. Everyone she knew. The only one who didn't had passed. It still hurt to think about it. Picking her head up, Chi cast her glance about, falling soon upon the sky blue kitsune. A smile spread wide across her lips. It seemed that kitsune just loved these places.
Golden eyes danced from the fellow kitsune back to the shimmering water. Picking up a semi-frozen stone, she cast it across the water. It managed to skip three times before plunging into the depths, leaving behind it several cascading waves. Chi smile down at her distorted reflection. "You don't know of any tanuki who like to sing, do you?" She asked, thinking to herself 'as if'. Turning her head, she smiled to the other being, her eyes sliding closed. For someone who could seem so innocent, she almost looked sinister. Thus was the sign of a kitsune.

He once more sat down his hind pressing against the cold rock. Only to transform into that tall, harash looking male form. Silver hair brushing against his face in the soft breeze of the Mountian side, "Do not get me wrong, I do note like the humans, but I do not lothe them either. they have their needs, as we have ours." He said calmly "But I cannot overlook the wrong they've caused our civilization. Pushing it to hells edge and laughing about it." He said calmly as his foot danced in the cold water, Fox like ears situated atop of his head twitching softly as he picks up on the sounds around him. Even the sounds of the rock bouncing acoss the lake caught his attention as he watched the rock skip. "Those who disturb my tranquillity, are subject to my judgement. If you are guilty in the eyes of the land, I will become your exciutioner. As for if I know anyone who enjoys singing. I'm sure there are some around here somewhere."
With that he pushed to his feet, white clothing of a vagabond falling around his form as he stood up. He allows his head to fall back, feeling the cool mist of the falls upon his face, his eyes slowly closing listening to the sounds around him. Telling of the secrets in which the human army were marching, inwhich the demons were fighting. "I refuse to choose sides in this little fight, I protect that which surrounds me. I will protect what needs protection, and that is simply it. " He said at lengh, his calm voice, his level headed cool radiated from between narrow lips. Before he then opened his eyes and his body dove into the lake. He began to swim out towards the center of it. It was very clear, this demon loved his land more than his own life.

Chihiro tilted her head and sighed, her golden oculars seeming to concentrate on that distorted image. "It seems that everyone hates humans these days, or at least... No one views them as I do, with a tender, understanding heart." She shook her head delicately, bringing a hand down to skim across the icy water's surface. "Not all humans approve of what is being done. Not every human feels the same..." She trailed off, seeming to be lost in that clear water. The winter had not caught up to the aquatic life yet, and a sleepy little koi slipped about below the surface, seemingly in harmony. Golden orbs seemed to narrow, then soften.
Picking her head up, she turned her gaze upon the male standing by the falls, her head tilting once more in that child-like curiosity. Silver. "Of course we must protect these lands, they are our sacred birth right, given to us by our beautiful Goddess... However, I cannot approve of those who slaughter." For a moment, Chi smiled a demure smile, only to have it fade into a look of confusion as he jumped into the lake. She shivered with the thought of how cold it must have been, and closed her eyes to shut out the thought. Her kimono was already layered quite thickly, it needn't be anymore thick lest she not be able to move around.
Those soft eyes followed the figure as he went about swimming, wondering just how it was that he could stand such temperatures. Perhaps he had stared at the moon once too many times. Casting her gaze away, she twisted lightly and pulled those long locks over her shoulder, fingering lightly at the red silk which bound her hair together toward the ends. Red for remembrance. Chihiro sighed and slipped the ribbon from her hair, tying it about her wrist where she would see it better. A gentle breeze picked up and pushed her hair about, and she did herself a favor by moving it from her face with a hand once the wind had finished playing.
((There, damn it!))
